Coronavirus (COVID 19)

UPDATE 6/15/2020

Our physical office on Grand River in Brighton has now reopened. Our staff are maintaining social distancing standards as well as regularly disinfecting hard surfaces.

UPDATE 3/16/2020

As a valued client of Jackson Kennedy Insurance & Investments we appreciate the trust you place in our firm, advisors and staff. We want you to know that we are monitoring the situation for updates concerning the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and are heeding the advice as put forward by the government at all levels (federal, state and local) and the CDC.

Out of an abundance of caution and care for the health and well being of our staff and clients, we have decided to work remotely and close the physical office until further notice. At times like this we are grateful for the modern advances of technology that will allow us to continue to carry out normal business operations without the need to be present in our Brighton office. We humbly ask for your patience and understanding as working from home in times such as these can present challenges to operational efficiency. Some of our staff are doing their best to manage the demands of work with the need to attend to their children who are out of school. Please be assured that your voicemails, emails, faxes, and mail that you send to us will be answered and attended to in a timely fashion as we continue to field questions and guide clients with their insurance and investment decisions.

Many questions are coming in from our clients concerning how testing for Coronavirus (COVID 19) will be covered on their health insurance policy. A recent briefing from Vice President Pence confirmed that the Health and Human Services department, “has already denominated a test for coronavirus to be an essential health benefit, which ensures that it will be covered by people’s private health insurance. It’ll be covered by Medicare and Medicaid”. The full briefing from the Vice President can be viewed at the link below:

Again, we appreciate the trust you put in our firm and want you to know that the health and safety of our clients and our staff is our first priority.

Warm Regards,

The Jackson Kennedy Team
